Spanish future teachers learn about
 Guidance and Counseling

This blog is a magazine about my experience in the subject of Guidance & Counseling as a bilingual student of Primary Education in Universidad Complutense of Madrid.  A group of 25 students have learnt a lot about this topic by using project and collaborative methods, as I explain in the following pages.

I have been taken some pictures for weeks and now I use them to illustrate this blog in order to make it more enjoyable and close to you.

The subject's programme is composed by different projects, lectures and activities we have carried out in order to understand what is school guidance and how to develop it in real cases. Finally, we have been able to design our own Guidance Plan.

These are the most interesting lessons / projects we have develop:

- Lesson 1 - What is Guidance and Counseling ?  Webquest.

General view of the classroom.

All these activities have been performance by groups of 3 or 4 people, using the Collaborative Learning method. It usually becomes very enriching and rewarding, because each member of the group has something unique that he/she can contribute, although sometimes it becomes an obstacle specially when the group is not homogeneus.

However, I've learnt very much about how to motivate my classmates (they were 16 years younger than me) and I preffer to remember the good things and enjoyable times, because it makes the assignment more funny.

It has been an interesting subject. We have learning through discovering, experimenting, listening and exchanging information from our classmates, which is very dinamic and interesting.

Now, I will to explain you all of these projects though next pages.  I hope you find it as interesting and enjoy it !!
